Christmas Snowman Cupcakes // Christmas 2016

Hello everyone! So today I made an attempt to make some super cute christmas snowman cupcakes that I found whilst scrolling through Pinterest. Before making I was pretty nervous but they ended up being way harder than I anticipated! I ended up giving up and was going to scrap it and not do this blog post but I kept trying and they turned out all right... They do look kinda creepy and a lot more Halloweeny but I tried and I am guessing you could all do better!

For the actual cupcake I just used a chocolate cupcake packet mix from the super market but if you prefer making them from scratch thats fine too!

To decorate you need:

- White/Plain/Vanilla Icing (I used store bought Creamy Vanilla Icing by Betty Crocker because its the only plain icing I like)

- White marshmallows

- Black icing (or you can use dark melted chocolate which I kinda which I used)

- Piping Bag or you can use a zip lock bag

- If you want to be more creative than me you can also use orange icing or a tip of a carrot and make a nose!

What I did was I piped a spiral of icing slowly getting higher each time round. I then attempted to draw a face on the marshmallow which didn't work at all as the icing didn't stick to the marshmellow at all resulting in most of the faces looking super creepy and one not even having a mouth. I was going to give up at this stage but I decided to do the arms anyway and I found it brought it all together and made it look so much better and snowman like!

I recommend trying to make these even if you think they would be to hard. If you decide to do and you think you're failing don't give up! Keep trying and it may all work out in the end! If you create these send me or tag me in a photo on Instagram (@kaylahopeblog)
